Installing Fundo in concrete floor

A suitable sized opening in the floor should be formed to house the drain unit. Our illustration shows the Fundo being installed flush to the surrounding floor. It is also possible to use Tilebacker to offer added benefits. See "In Concrete 2" for details.

The existing sub-floor should be completely clean.

Connect the coupling spigot of the drain to the existing drainage pipework.

Site the drain unit in the exact location for both height and position for later connection to the Fundo base element (see right). Check all joints are tightened.

Fill the void around the drain and pipework with a suitable mortar. Compress and level out the whole area to the top of the drain body (right). Now follow the instructions for finishing the installation
