A careful plan should be made of how the tiles
are to be laid
There is a 'valley' running from the centre
of the Fundo to each corner (see white dotted lines). It is important
to cut tiles for the edges to follow the direction of this fall
across the whole area of the Fundo (below)
The surrounding tiling can follow any desired
run - an example of one approach to this can be seen on the top
right. Another is illustrated below.
If the tiles bridge the 'valley lines', they
may fail, offer a raised profile or water may not drain away properly.
