Before starting work, the floor must be adequately
stiff, with reference made to the appropriate construction standards
for the rigidity of such a floor for tiling.
The first stage is to cut out a section of floor
in order to install the drain unit (right).
Then, 80mm below the top of the joist, firmly fix noggins and a
support board between the joists on which to bed the Fundo drain
body firmly (below).
