The surrounding area can be brought up to level,
using Tilebacker Board (right) on a flexible cement adhesive bed.
Leave to set.
The joint should be made (lower right) with
wedi waterproof jointing tape using flexible cement
adhesive (see the section on wet areas)
Allow to set
Follow our instructions
for tiling on the Fundo.
Note: Should it be necessary to reduce the
height of the wedi Fundo base in relation to the wooden floor. As can be seen in the diagram below,
it is posisble to cut the existing wooden sub floor and joists
to the exact size of the unit. A new sub-floor then has to be
constructed at the desired level and installation continues as
per the earlier stage
