The 50mm thick Riolita element is supplied boxed and includes an 80mm thick Styrofoam block substructure to protect the unit and drain in transit. This can be used as a support base during installation.
For a concrete voided floor, the 80mm substructure can be set within the screed as pictured above. Both can be used gto create a 130mm raised installation, bonded directly on top of a concrete or wooden sub-floor.
In floor level applictaions to wooden floors, this Styrofoam substructre is not required and the 50mm Riolita element is bonded directly to the wooden sub-floor using the established procedure for wedi Fundo.
The flow rate of the drain, including trap, equals the 48 litres/minute of our standard Fundo. Three different channel covers are available: Tileable, Standard and Delux versions, all in stainless steel.
